TIFF Library for MPE/iX

This port is a prototype; it is totally unsupported but it seems to work (at least for me ;)

I found initial information about the TIFF library and utilities at the TIF2GIF web page of kalex@umich.edu, which contains a reference to the Silicon Graphics Inc. web site...

Here is a copy of the TIFF library distribution that I picked from the SGI ftp site...

If you do not want to run your own build, you may download the resulting binaries here...

Notice that the above tar archive contains the directories bin (tools), lib (library), include (header files) as well as man (the man pages). When reading the man pages watch out to also specify the sections (eg 3t) explicitly, as MPE/iX man seems to only search numeric sections (eg 3) by default. Also notice that the original distribution contains quite a lot of HTML documentation files.

As always, feedback welcome and best-effort help available (but I'm an libtiff beginner).
